About Us
My name is Asia Taylor, owner of Rita’s Place. I named this facility after my mom who passed away when I was a young girl. Growing up without my mom faced me with many challenges that I had to overcome which gave me an abundance amount of strength , a heart bigger than the average and a power to help others. I started Rita’s Place to enrich life experiences by providing opportunities for active, engaged and purposeful living.
Rita’s Place provides a full range of services daily. If there is a need for medication monitoring or a need for assistance with taking meds independently, or other personal care services, Rita’s Place provides.
All residents may have individual needs and those needs are met on an individual bases. Here at Rita’s Place we provide social activities, nutritional food, and a caring, loving environment. Making the most of Rita’s Place, we provide independent living fulfilling individual preferences. It is our goal to help residents feel empowered, give our residents loved ones a peace of mind and to make our staff and residents feel like family.
We work with each resident, their loved ones, case manager and anyone that handles the clients wellbeing to provide the ultimate experience for the individuals social, personal and emotional needs. We want the resident to have the maximum freedom and independency.

Rita’s Place is an adult care facility located in the Mt. Pleasant area on the Southeast side of Cleveland. Ohio.
Mt. Pleasant is home to Luke Easter Park, the largest urban park In Ohio. Green space, recreational activities and neighborhood festivals keep residents engaged and connected. Rita’s Place is a 5 bed certified facility with 1 private room and 2 semi private rooms.
Cost
Rent for residents is determined by the residents income. Any prospective resident deemed indigent, rent will never be higher than $1100.00 (subject to change) Residents who are considered private pay, they will need to pay a higher rent based on income. All fees cover, room&board, personal care assistance, medication monitoring, transportation to scheduled family outings and more.

Residents who reside at our facility are defined by the three following pay services:
Private Pay
Social Security
Residential State Supplement (RSS)
There are other programs that assist with rental assistance for residents that are coming out of nursing homes or require sober living.
